Creating a summary report


Data Access Studio can summarize information in a click of a button.


Steps:

  1. Right-click the column to group.

    Step 1
  2. Click Group By This Column

    Step 2
  3. Right-click the column to summarize.

    Step 3
  4. Choose Sum to add up to values in the group.

    Click the menu.

    Step 4

DONE

Here we created a report that shows account balances.  Summarization can work on any table.
