Link to Group

The Link to Group feature is available for Chart, Gauge, Pivot Grid and Cross Tab controls when they are placed in Group Header or Group Footer bands. The property controls whether the filter will be automatically adjusted to match the group context in which it appears, and will be automatically set if the underlying report's grouping changes or if the chart is moved to a new band. The property is in the Data tab of the control, but its appearance will vary slightly depending upon the control type.

Filtering

When this option is applied, the control will be filtered by the group value (e.g. Business Unit) in addition to any filter specified in the Filter String property of the control..
