Subreport Custom Size
If a ProReport is intended to be used as a Subreport, it is recommended to size it appropriately so that it shows correct dimensions when placed in a top-level/master ProReport. Options in the Subreport Custom Size section allow enabling custom size, removing margins, and sizing to the current report's header/footer size.
These options can be used in any ProReport, even if it not intended to be used as a Subreport.
Custom Size
To manually size the width and height of the ProReport, click the Custom Size button. This will enable the Width and Height spin controls. Click the up/down arrows to adjust the Width and Height or manually type a value into the fields to adjust the Width and Height. This option sets the Paper Kind option to Custom. Size options can also be set in the Properties panel.
Note
If the ProReport was generated with a Present to ProReport option, or one of the Auto Generate options was used, the report might already have a custom size in order to accomodate with width of Labels, Groupings, Group Summaries, or Report Summaries.
Zero Margins
Click the Zero Margins button to set the Top, Bottom, Right, and Left margins to zero. Margins can also be adjusted in the Properties panel. A zero margin ProReport is easier to be used as a subreport of other ProReports.
Size to Header / Footer
Click the Size to Header/Footer button to zero the margins, and set the width to the current page width and the Detail Band height to 100 units (Hundredths of an Inch). The Paper Kind option will be set to Custom. Use this operation to create a subreport to be used as a custom header or footer in other ProReports.
Page Setting Properties
The settings for adjusting the Paper Kind, Page Height, Page Width, Margins, that are changed in the Subreport Custom Size section are also availabe in the Properties Panel when the top level ProReport is selected.
