Setting Parameters Interactively

The Web Dashboard provides a built-in Dashboard Parameters dialog, which allows you to change dashboard parameter values.

To invoke the Dashboard Parameters dialog, click the Parameters button (the Parameters_ParametersButtonWin_Title icon) in the dashboard title.

Select the required parameter values and click the Submit button to apply the changes. To reset changes to the default values, click the Reset button.

Setting Parameters on the URL

Dashboard parameters can be also be set on the URL. You use the parameter name as a standard URL element.

Snapshots

If a dashboard has more than one backing snapshot of data (via publishing different snapshots to different groups), you will be given a prompt to select the snapshot to show.

Set Snapshot on URL

This snapshot can also be set on the url via the 's' parameter:
