HQ Training is a short series of instructor-led, virtual courses delivered in a highly interactive and digital environment. Over three days, the Advanced progression builds on your existing foundational knowledge and teaches sophisticated concepts in a straightforward format. You will leave fortified with a toolbox of new abilities to create your own high-level reports and dashboards.
ADVANCED DAY I – 10/18/2022
Quick Reports, External Connections, Bursting and Automator, Advanced calculations
In the first half of the Advanced Course, students learn how to build reports based on income statements, balance sheets, trial balances, budget reports, and fixed asset and job cost reporting. Students will learn how to perform a drill-down into a sub-report, create a master report bringing back data from a sub-report, and generate a driver report to burst a distributed sub-report via email or to an output directory. Scheduling reports and configuring output formats for email distribution and the use of external non-JDE data connections will also be covered.
ADVANCED DAY 2 – 10/19/2022
Dashboards and Mobie, Presentations
The second half teaches how to design dashboards. You’ll learn how to create, format, customize, and edit dashboards that eventually will be published to mobile users via mobie. This course teaches designers how to publish a dashboard, how to view the output on mobile devices, how to create slideshows, and provides a high-level explanation of the portal and data boxes within mobie. Students will learn how to use both the automatic and manual report presentation features in DAS as well as how to create custom style Excel- layered worksheets.
ADVANCED DAY 3 – 10/20/2022
ProReports
The final ProReports Course covers the new functionality inside DAS8. You’ll learn all-things ProReports to create and conform reports that produce functional and beautiful outputs. This course teaches how to use the drag and drop design surface that allows you to lay out both textual data as well as advanced visualizations such as charts, gauges, images, and barcodes among many others.
