DAS Basics is designed to familiarize end users with basic DAS features, giving them instant access to pertinent JD Edwards data. An all-encompassing JDE file overview will set the foundation for all report creation learning. Students will learn the skills needed to begin developing basic reports using a single table or business view. Learn how to design columns and create basic calculations and organize data by indexing, filtering, sorting, totaling and finally publishing reports.

Trending, Joins, Table Lookups, External Connections, Presentations

DAS Intermediate teaches students to design reports using multiple tables, providing a better understanding of how to work with JD Edwards data. It also covers concepts such as joins (why data is sometimes duplicated) and advanced calculations (changing units of measure, table lookups, etc). Students will learn how to trend data in reports to maximize organization and intelligence capabilities. Students will learn how to use both the automatic presentation features in DAS.

Advanced Calculations, Variables, Bursting and Automator

This course teaches advanced calculations as well as how to use the power of variables in your reports. Students will learn how to perform a drill-down into a sub-report, create a master report bringing back data from a sub-report, and generate a driver report to burst a distributed sub-report via email or to an output directory. Scheduling reports and configuring output formats for email distribution and the use of external non-JDE data connections will also be covered.
